SATs preparation that builds confidence and results
Year 6 SATs take place every May. Our experienced tutors help children feel prepared and positive, with focused support across English and Maths that makes a real difference to their results.
SATs take place in May each year
KS2 SATs are sat by all Year 6 pupils in state schools during a week in May. The tests cover English Reading, English Grammar Punctuation & Spelling, and Maths (Arithmetic and Reasoning). Results help determine secondary school sets and give a snapshot of your child's progress. Starting preparation early in Year 6 – or even the summer before – gives the best results.

When to start SATs preparation
Best time: September of Year 6
Starting at the beginning of Year 6 gives plenty of time to build skills gradually. We can work alongside school lessons to reinforce learning and fill any gaps.
January start? Still plenty of time
With SATs in May, a January or February start still gives 3-4 months of focused preparation. We'll prioritise the areas that will make the biggest difference.
